Assistant Superintendent
South Coast Improvement Company is a dynamic, success driven commercial construction management firm and we are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our diverse, talented team. South Coast Improvement has 85% repeat business with some of the largest providers of Senior Living and Affordable housing along the East Coast.
South Coast Improvement Company serves a number of sectors in New England, and also specializes in renovating and expanding occupied Senior Living facilities along the Eastern Seaboard. We have a project in Manhattan, NY that we are hiring for immediately.
Assistant Superintendent Responsibilities
- Enforce all OSHA and best in class safety standards
- Site cleanliness – enforce subcontractors and help as needed
- Upload photos and notes into construction management program
- Sign visitors, subs, vendors onto jobsite
- Help identify and solve issues
- Communicate proactively
- Support the Site Supervisor
- Expected to enforce quality and best in class workmanship
- Manage deliveries
Assistant Superintendent Experience Preferred
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in commercial construction
- Enforcement of safety best practices
- Occupied renovations
- Scheduling and coordination skills are essential
- Procore

- Anticipated base salary range $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
