GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Endpoint & Application Management Engineer is responsible for the administration, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoints, applications, and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures systems are patched, compliant, secure, and reliably delivered to end users while supporting network and email security initiatives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Endpoint & Device Management
Administer and maintain enterprise device management platforms including SCCM and Microsoft Intune for Windows workstations and servers.
Build, maintain, and deploy standardized workstation images
Provide endpoint protection and configuration management to ensure system stability and security
Patch & Application Management
Perform monthly patching for Windows workstations and servers, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards
Manage application patching and lifecycle support across the enterprise
Package, release, and distribute software using enterprise deployment tools
Security, Compliance & Vulnerability Management
Implement and manage endpoint security solutions including BitLocker, CrowdStrike, and Qualys
Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts across endpoints and servers
Ensure endpoints remain compliant with organizational security and regulatory standards
Reporting & Monitoring
Develop and maintain reporting and monitoring solutions to track patch compliance, vulnerabilities, and endpoint health
Provide actionable insights and metrics to IT leadership and security teams
Network
Hands‑on experience supporting Cisco Catalyst and Meraki switching environments.
Working knowledge of VLANs, trunking, STP, and port security in enterprise networks
Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and basic Layer 3 connectivity issues impacting endpoints and applications.
Familiarity with Cisco IOS and Meraki Dashboard for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure in a multi‑site environment.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Equivalent
Experience:
- Proven experience in endpoint, application, and patch management in an enterprise environment
- Hands‑on experience with SCCM and Microsoft Intune administration
- Strong understanding of Windows workstation and server operating systems
- Experience with endpoint security tools such as BitLocker, CrowdStrike, and Qualys
- CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge
- Experience supporting Cisco switching environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience with vulnerability management programs
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to document processes and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working closely with information security teams.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki (switches, wireless access points, and dashboards)
- Understanding of network access control (NAC) concepts and endpoint posture validation
- Experience collaborating with network teams on network security incidents and remediation.
- Ability to analyze network‑related performance issues affecting endpoint stability and application delivery.
- Exposure to Cisco security system or secure network architecture concepts (ASA, Firepower, or equivalent)
