Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on marine products, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tune-ups, brake adjustments, and engine servicing.

Technical Proficiency:

• Stay updated on the latest technology and repair techniques for marine products.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively to identify and resolve issues.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and service bulletins for accurate repairs and maintenance.

Customer Service:

• Communicate clearly with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations.
• Provide honest and professional estimates for repairs, ensuring transparency with clients.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality and reliability.

Shop Efficiency:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
• Manage tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Document all repairs and services performed, ensuring accuracy for customer records and internal tracking.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines during repairs and maintenance.
• Stay compliant with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a service technician in powersports, marine, automotive, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of marine products, their components, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• ASE certification or equivalent training in marine repair is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
