Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Business Partnership & Support
•    Serve as the main People+ partner for employees and managers in Mexico, ensuring consistent and compliant HR practices.
•    Partner with local and regional leadership to identify workforce needs, development priorities, and engagement opportunities.
•    Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
•    Act as the communication and culture bridge between local teams and the Global Director - People+.
 
HR Operations & Collaboration with Shared Services
•    Coordinate with Shared Services HR Mexico to ensure accurate and timely payroll, benefits, and administrative processes.
•    Manage employment documentation, onboarding, and terminations across supported countries in compliance with local legislation and company standards.
•    Maintain employee records and support audits or reporting requirements.
•    Ensure accuracy of employee data in HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors)
 
Employee Relations & Compliance
•    Handle employee relations matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions with professionalism and confidentiality.
•    Ensure adherence to labor regulations across Mexico, partnering with external counsel when needed.
•    Keep management informed of relevant changes in labor legislation or employment practices.
•    Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (applicable frameworks).
 
Talent, Development & Engagement
•    Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of employees.
•    Partner with managers to identify key talent, facilitate performance reviews, and support career growth.
•    Lead or coordinate engagement, recognition, and internal communication initiatives that strengthen culture and retention.
•    Support the implementation of global People+ development programs and performance processes.
 
Projects & Collaboration
•    Contribute to regional HR initiatives, process harmonization, and continuous improvement.
•    Provide data and insights for HR reports and analytics (headcount, turnover, engagement, etc.).
•    Collaborate with global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation.



Key Soft Skills


•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
•    8+ years of broad HR generalist experience, preferably in multinational or regional environments.
Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law.
•    Experience partnering with Shared Services or centralized HR functions.
•    Proven capability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities across geographies.
•    Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
•    Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Office Suite.
