Purpose:
The Senior Quality Manager – Quality Systems is responsible for partnering with the Global and North American NSG teams to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements. This role will help lead our organization to ensure compliance with the IATF Register by scheduling audits, ensuring consistent system deployment, maintaining compliance, supporting audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Optimize the plant Management Review process to drive Continual Improvement to the QMS via the PDCA cycle.
- Lead Management Reviews with NA Staff to drive Continual Improvement to the region.
- Conduct Audits routinely at the plants for adherence to SOP’s, and ensure the effectiveness of the Plant MR Process
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the IATF 16949 QMS across all North American Locations.
- Promote and embed a culture of Customer Satisfaction across all N.A. Sites.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for IATF 16949 standards, interpretations, and best practices.
- Conduct gap analysis and develop actionable plans to sustain certification and drive continual improvement across all locations.
- Monitor key quality performance metrics and support targeted improvement activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external third-party registrars.
- Ensure the effective and consistent application of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC).
- Communicate and facilitate implementation of changes to Customer Requirements, and Business Management System (BMS) requirements.
- Support N.A. NSG Sites in the development and execution of internal audit programs to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and continuous improvement expectations.
- Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Scope/Dimensions:
- Direct reports: North America NSG Site Quality System Engineers.
- Key Interactions: Regular engagement with Global Quality Systems, site leadership teams, and all N.A. departments at all levels of the organizations.

Qualifications Required:
- Associate degree in Business or equivalent experience
- IATF 16494 Lead Auditor Certification
- Strong proficiency in advanced problem-solving methodologies
- Excellent computer skills and strong organizational capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Effective training, coaching, and facilitation skills
- Proven experience leading teams of both hourly & salaried employees
Qualifications Desired:
- Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier
- Experience managing an IATF Internal Audit Program
Other Requirements:
- Travel is extensive which may require out of country and overnight travel may be expected (~90% annually). The travel is subject to change due to changing business conditions and may increase from time-to-time due to required needs in other plants.
- A company car will be provided.
Salary Range: $126,084 to $189,120
