POSITION SUMMARY
The analytics engineer will design, build, and maintain our data warehouse models. They would also transform raw data into reliable, well-documented datasets that power decision-making across the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design and develop DBT models following software engineering best practices.
Build and maintain scalable data transformations in DBT.
Design and implement dimensional data models using star and snowflake schemas.
Build and maintain data transformations that convert operational data into user-friendly datasets.
Integrate data sources (Forma, Procore, Destini, Docusign, Oracle Fusion, etc.).
Create data quality tests and monitoring to ensure reliability.
Create and maintain documentation for data models, business logic, and data history.
Document data models and maintain clear lineage for stakeholders.
Monitor and Optimize Snowflake for cost and performance.
Continue to grow our data governance standards for analytics, access controls, etc.
Mentor/Coach junior analysts on data modeling, SQL, and analytics best practices.
Communicate with stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years’ experience with SQL and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with DBT, SQL, Star schemas, ETL, Power BI.
Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Fivetran, or Redshift).
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of role-based permissions, governance, and security best practices.
Experience with version control and CI/CD practices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily an office environment.

Over 2/3 of your time will be spent talking or hearing. Our office environment requires extensive computer work and use of the phone.
