Now Hiring: Full-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Join our team as a full-time Registered Dietitian (RD) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and play a vital role in improving residents’ health through individualized nutrition care.

 

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team full-time in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / long-term care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide individualized nutrition care that supports residents’ health, recovery, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the nutritional needs of residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans

  • Provide counseling and education to residents, families, and staff

  • Partner with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff to ensure coordinated care

  • Document assessments, progress, and updates in medical records

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SNF dietary regulations

  • Support food service operations to maintain safety, quality, and satisfaction

  • Provide full‑time dietetic coverage shared between two assigned facilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

  • Prior experience in long-term care or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred

  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Resident-centered approach to care
