The Hyatt Shared Service Center provides accounting and customer support for over 200 Hyatt Hotels in North America and Latin America. This role will act as the main contact for Hyatt regarding cash application and the Collection departments’ day to day functions.
Essential Functions:
- Build strong working relationships with the finance professionals across Hyatt
- Ensure the departments are meeting Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with Global Hyatt directives
- Respond to daily requests and/or escalations
- Help hotels setup government accounts for AR
- Assign accounts and hotels evenly throughout the department
- Assign accounts for corporate collections
- Review each departments weekly performance
- Monitor accuracy of information
- Timeliness of tasks
- Identify concerns in consistency, etc.
- Identify and develop a plan for recovery of over limit or “at risk” accounts
- Identify low performing hotels/Agents and develop improvement plan(s)
- Learn the Hyatt Program Accounts and monitor and address aging balances monthly
- Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs. With the following schedule availability: Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM, weekends and staying late as need
- Participation in colleague events, onsite meetings, hotel visits and industry conferences is expected
- Work well with others at a variety of levels within the organization

Experience:
- 1+ year(s) accounts receivable or accounting experience required
- 2+ Years’ management experience required

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus
