Description

  

A Utility Floater provides support across multiple branches, assisting with various needs. Utility Floater is responsible for processing transactions, interacting with a diverse group of people via person and by phone, investigating and resolving complaints, providing information about the products and services the credit union offers, and cross selling such products and services.  Opening and closing of member accounts in addition to processing change of addresses, processing debit cards, opening CD, and IRA accounts. This role requires strong member service skills, adaptability and a thorough understanding of credit union operations.

Qualifications


Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial operations or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and active listening skills.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to members.
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and federal regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Well-organized, independent and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sales background
