Requirements

The Equipment Coordinator plays a critical support role in managing the logistics, tracking, and documentation of construction equipment across multiple solar and renewable energy project sites. Reporting to the onsite Logistics Superintendent, this role ensures equipment is scheduled, mobilized, and maintained efficiently. The Equipment Coordinator collaborates with site teams, vendors, mechanics, and procurement to support field operations, reduce downtime, and ensure regulatory compliance for all equipment assets.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage equipment inventory and tracking systems, ensuring accurate records for owned and rented assets.
  • Coordinate equipment logistics, including mobilization, transfers, dispatching, and delivery across project sites.
  • Monitor equipment performance and compliance by tracking usage, maintenance schedules, inspections, and regulatory standards (DOT, OSHA).

  • Maintain organized documentation and reporting, including rental agreements, service logs, telematics data, and fuel usage.

 What You Bring

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
  • Working knowledge of construction/heavy equipment and experience with fleet or inventory management systems (e.g., Excel or similar tools).
  • Solid communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of equipment safety, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and ability to interpret logs, reports, and shipping documentation.
