Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Data Quality Developer II
Location: Bangalore, India

The mission of the Technical Data Group is to provide the most accurate and complete data for design engineers sourcing electronic components on Mouser.com. The group maintains the Product Information Management (PIM) system and Data Quality tools to accomplish that responsibility.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Understand how the company utilizes Product 360 to manage product information, enhance the application using Java, troubleshoot server issues, and assist users when unexpected events occur.
  • Use Data Quality to perform transformations, create, test, maintain and support data quality rules to ensure data meets requirements, and analyze data for issues.
  • Develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot process orchestrations using ActiveVOS, Business Process Execution Language BPEL, XML, XQuery, XPath, and web service calls to create workflows and automate processes.
  • Convert existing MS Access applications and create, test, maintain, and troubleshoot additional tools to assist product specialists in completing their tasks using Visual Studios to build .Net applications written in C# in accordance with industry standards and best.
  • Document processes and tools while using TFS as the source control to manage and track progress.
  • Makes recommendations for program improvements or corrections

  • Experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build jobs to assist in data processes, including transformations, C# scripting, XML processing, and interacting with web services.
  • Experience in working with enterprise PIM and API.
  • Experience in working with ActiveVOS or a similar Business Process Execution Language BPEL process orchestrator using Business Process Model Notation (BPMN), XML, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in working with XML files including XQuery and XPath.
  • Experience in working with Data Quality Development and Data Analyst Tools  Experience in extending Informatics products with Java customizations.
  • Experience in administering and troubleshooting Java applications with tools such as VisualVM and Java Management eXtensions (JMX).
  • Experience in building .Net web applications and services using C# and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Experience in working with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in Excel and Access.
  • Experience in thoroughly testing and troubleshooting applications.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Informatica products.

  • Experience in working with ActiveVOS or a similar Business Process Execution Language BPEL process orchestrator using Business Process Model Notation (BPMN), XML, and RESTful APIs.

  • Exhibits leadership skills while spending the majority of time being hands-on; executing manual tests and scripting automated test scenarios
  • Experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build jobs to assist in data processes, including transformations, C# scripting, XML processing, and interacting with web services
  • Experience in Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL)
