    The Morris County Vocational School District is a dynamic learning environment, committed to the mission to provide vocational and enrichment programs that inspire and prepare students to succeed in today's world and pursue tomorrow's opportunities.  For the 2026-2027 academic year, Morris County Vocational School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time tenure track Teacher of Business.   Candidates holding a CE, CEAS, or Standard certification in Comprehensive Business are encouraged to apply. 

     

    Qualifications:

     

    1. Certification in Teacher of Comprehensive Business (endorsement code #1300) is required.
    2. Masters degree or doctoral degree preferred
    3. Strong subject matter and NJSLS knowledge
    4. Ability to differentiate instruction based upon individual student needs
    5. Strong skill set in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and implementing a variety of pedagogical strategies.
    6. Experience utilizing data to make informed instructional decisions
    7. Strong classroom management and communication skills
    8. Understanding of Universal Design for Learning and inclusive instructional practices

     

     

    In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $65,455 to $109,685.  This position is also eligible for a retirement plan, sick, personal, bereavement, and family illness days.
