Day Habilitation Specialist

The Day Habilitation Specialist is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care and education of Day Habilitation program participants. This includes implementation of individualized plans and behavior plans. Day Habilitation Specialist will ensure a safe and therapeutic working environment is maintained throughout the day. Staff will continually assess the level of individual support necessary for learning and community experiences. Quality of services and support are defined by program participants and evaluated regularly. 

 

Minimum qualifications:  

Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED 

Preferences: Bilingual, Six (6) months of health and human services direct care experience 

Defined Experience: Health and Human Services field 

License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s license
