Position Summary:

The On-Call LPN provides clinical support on an as-needed basis, assisting with staffing coverage, call-ins, and urgent resident care needs. This role ensures continuity of care, supports clinical operations, and upholds our standards of excellence in resident-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and regulatory guidelines
  • Respond to call-offs and staffing needs across shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support and delegate tasks to nursing assistants as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies


Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and responsive to staffing needs
