Position Summary:
The On-Call LPN provides clinical support on an as-needed basis, assisting with staffing coverage, call-ins, and urgent resident care needs. This role ensures continuity of care, supports clinical operations, and upholds our standards of excellence in resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and regulatory guidelines
- Respond to call-offs and staffing needs across shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support and delegate tasks to nursing assistants as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of Nebraska (or compact state)
- Current CPR certification required
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, flexible, and responsive to staffing needs
