Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT) – Weekend Coverage

Facility: Rose Mountain Care Center Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Rose Mountain Care Center is seeking a compassionate, clinically strong Occupational Therapist (OT) who values autonomy and takes pride in supporting residents through meaningful functional progress. While optional weekday hours may be available, our primary need is a dependable clinician to support weekend coverage (Saturdays and/or Sundays).

Clinical Responsibilities

• Independent Caseload Management: Provide weekend evaluations and treatments with confidence and sound clinical reasoning.

• Goal-Oriented Care Plans: Develop and implement functional, patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADL retraining, safety, and maximizing independence.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with PT, SLP, Nursing, and other team members to ensure cohesive, resident-focused care.

• Accurate Documentation: Complete timely, compliant, and clinically defensible documentation.

Requirements

• Active NJ Occupational Therapy License

• Ability to Work Autonomously: Comfortable managing a caseload independently and making sound clinical decisions.

• Reliability: Consistent weekend availability and commitment to resident care.

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Net Health is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train.

Mandarin or Cantonese speaking a big plus
