    Required Certifications & Qualifications

    Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License

    Watertown Public Schools is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual with the skills to effectively care for children, including students with health care plans and/or special needs

     

    The candidate must demonstrate the ability to:

    • Collect and document individual and collective student health data
    • Use a variety of modalities to collect and differentiate health data
    • Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses
    • Serve as case manager for students with health needs
    • Uses current health care standards and evidence-based information to develop health care plans
    • Develop individualized health care plans within general education, Section 504 and Special Education
    • Identify and implement changes or modifications in the plan of care
    • Ensure that health and safety are incorporated into all areas of the school environment

    Terms of Employment

    • Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 12:15pm
    • Staff should be available for the full program period
    • Pay rate in accordance with contractual agreement

    Additional Duties

    Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services/ Building Administrator
