Job Description


The Cash Accountant prepares all monthly bank reconciliations and receivables reconciliations. The position enters and reviews journal entries for University departments. The position also assists with the annual financial statement process and other annual and quarterly reporting related to cash and receivables information.






Required Qualifications


Knowledge of banking practices and generally accepted accounting principles, demonstrated analytical skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.






Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with automated accounting systems and spreadsheet/word processing software (MS Office preferred), with a preference for experience in bank reconciliation procedures in a business environment.
