What You Will Be Doing
You will be the on-site technical authority, executing high-quality builds and troubleshooting complex systems to keep projects moving forward:
- Complex Installations: Execute high-quality installations, repairs, and upgrades of electrical systems and fixtures within complex commercial and industrial environments.
- Raceway Systems: Expertly install and support diverse raceway systems, including heavy conduit, cable trays, and structured wiring, ensuring absolute structural integrity.
- Diagnostics & Controls: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex motor and control systems to implement effective technical solutions and prevent costly project delays.
- Blueprint Execution: Accurately interpret detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure all work is performed exactly to code and design specs.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with field leadership and various other trades to maintain efficient project timelines and professional job site dynamics.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, highly organized work environment while strictly adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Solaris quality standards.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)
- Licensure (Strict Requirement): An active, valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician License is strictly required to be considered for this role.
- Experience: Proven, hands-on experience performing complex electrical work in commercial or industrial settings. (8+ years of total electrical experience and completion of a formal apprenticeship program is highly preferred!)
- Technical Mastery: Advanced ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Hands-On Skills: Demonstrated high proficiency with electrical tools, motor controls, bending conduit, and modern installation methods.
- Mindset: Strong, independent problem-solving skills with a documented history of taking total ownership of complex on-site technical challenges.
