Job Description
Job Title: Quality Technician
Department: Quality
Current Available Shift Schedule(s): 2nd: 2:00pm-10:30pm | 3rd: 10:00pm-6:30am
Location: Charlestown, New Hampshire

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing visual inspection on printed circuit boards and operating a variety of inspection and test equipment under close supervision.

Job Details

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring conformance of product quality per customer specifications.
  • Perform standardized quality control checks on products (visual inspections and tests utilizing inspection/test equipment).
  • Adhere to standardized operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Responsible for accurate and consistent data collection and documentation completion.
  • Interpret customer specifications and blueprints.
  • Follows established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear. Adheres to environmental, health and safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean workspace and production floor.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational Training preferred.
  • Experience in Inspection, Testing equipment, or quality systems considered a plus.
Physical demands & Abilities:
  • Able to work 8 hour shifts plus overtime when needed.
  • Able to lift up to 44 pounds/20kg.
  • Able to bend, lean, sit and/or stand for entire shift.
  • High level of manual dexterity.
  • Ability to operate factory machines and use software to run computer-operated machinery.

  • Perform all duties in a timely fashion to support production needs.
  • Follow all procedures and work instructions.
  • Elevate any compliance or maintenance issues.
  • Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.
  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
  • Attend scheduled EH&S training program.
  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
  • Recommend improved EH&S practices.
