Children's Community Support Providers aims to improve the functioning of children in the home, in school, and in the community. The provider will assist families in accessing necessary services to meet mental health needs of children ages 0-18. 

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

-          Bachelor's degree in human services or related field and 2,000 hours of mental health experience.

o   OR high school diploma and 6,000 hours of mental health experience.

-          Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.

-          Ability to submit and pass a DMV/Criminal background check.

-          Strong interpersonal and cultural competency skills.

DUTIES:

-          The program aims to improve the functioning of children in the home, in school, and in the community.

-          The provider will assist families in accessing necessary services to meet mental health needs of children ages 0-18. 

-          Collaborate with clinical team to create, review, and implement treatment plan goals and objectives.

-          Provide individual, group, and family skills training based on the treatment plan in the home, school, and community. 

-          Requires flexible scheduling and some evening work. 

-          Great opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists, psychologists, and child psychiatry.

-          Experience working with adults who have been homeless or at risk for homelessness, have chemical use/abuse issues, and have been involved with the legal system.

-          Experience working with diverse populations.
