Job Summary:

The Part-Time EMS Lab Instructor provides hands-on instruction and skills supervision for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) students in a laboratory setting. This position supports student skill development in accordance with course objectives, state and national EMS standards, and institutional policies.

Required Qualifications: 

Current certification as a NREMT Paramedic, Advanced EMT or EMT or state of Texas certification/licensure as a Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Associates of applied science degree in EMS. 
• Prior experience in EMS education or skills instruction. 
• Familiarity with simulation-based training and EMS lab equipment. 
• Certified EMS Instructor

• Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment.
