Position Summary

The Hotel Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting hotel guests to and from airport and town square. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring a reliable and pleasant transportation experience for all guests.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Transportation

  • Safely operate the hotel’s shuttle vehicle along assigned routes and schedules.

  • Provide pick-up and drop-off services for guests at airports and downtown attractions.

  • Assist guests with luggage and ensure proper loading/unloading.

Customer Service

  • Greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer questions about hotel services, local attractions, and travel information.

  • Provide exceptional hospitality and resolve guest concerns promptly or escalate as needed.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all traffic laws, hotel policies, and DOT regulations.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the shuttle vehicle.

  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to management.

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Keep the shuttle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.

  • Complete mileage logs and transportation records as required.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with the transportation manager regarding guest pick-ups, delays, or schedule changes.

  • Maintain clear communication via phone or radio while adhering to safety protocols.


Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Previous shuttle driving, commercial driving, or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Ability to lift and carry luggage (usually 30–50 lbs).

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of the local area is a plus.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Work Environment

  • Frequent driving in varying weather and traffic conditions.

  • Regular interaction with hotel guests and staff.

  • May involve early morning, late-night, or split shifts depending on hotel needs.
