New Opportunity: Pediatric Float Nurse � Be the Bridge from Hospital to Home!

Looking for a role that�s meaningful and leaves a lasting impact? Join Pediatric Home Service where you'll play a key role in helping medically complex children safely transition from the hospital back to the place they belong�home.

THE POSITION

Location: Dallas�Fort Worth Metroplex (travel required across the metro area)
Open Roles:

  • 1 Full-Time Day Float Nurse
  • 1 Full-Time Night Float Nurse

Schedule:

  • 3, 12-hour shifts per week (full-time)
  • Must be flexible and available 7 days/week
  • No overtime permitted

As a float nurse, you�ll support hospital discharges and provide coverage in homes across the metroplex�bringing care where it�s needed most.

  • Assist with bringing children home from the hospital
  • Float to homes needing skilled nursing support
  • Work with a variety of patients, technologies, and care needs
  • Build meaningful relationships with families while delivering high-impact, one-on-one care

THE COMPANY

For over 35 years, Pediatric Home Service has been dedicated to providing exceptional, one-on-one care to medically complex children. From infants to young adults, we support patients with needs such as trachs, ventilators, and g-tubes�helping them live full lives at home, in school, and in their communities.

COMPENSATION

We offer competitive, transparent pay that reflects the meaningful work you do.

  • Pay: Varies by shift, acuity, and assignment (including admissions and weekends), with opportunities to earn up to $34 per hour for LVNs and up to $47/hour for RNs
  • Additional differentials available based on shift type and patient needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Current Texas Nursing License, RN or LVN license that is in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 year of pediatric nursing and home health experience required.
  • CPR certification required; PALS certification preferred.
