The Accounting Manager is responsible for oversight of core functional areas of General Ledger, Job Cost, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Warehouse in the Accounting Department. They will have day-to-day oversight and review authority over assigned functional areas, as well as direct supervisory responsibility over the staff assigned to the functions. They must demonstrate considerable flexibility and aptitude and be capable of developing thorough familiarity with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the department and the duties of its personnel, as well as the applications infrastructure within which they function.

  • A background in construction is preferred.
  • Full-time onsite required from 7am-4pm (Office location: South Lake Union).
 
Your Qualifications 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or as an accountant in a private organization. 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of experience and education. 
  • 2+ years' experience managing staff or supervisory experience. 
  • Construction related accounting experience preferred. 
KNOWLEDGE
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the full suite of applications in Microsoft Office. 
  • Extensive proficiency with use of Excel. 
  • Experience with an integrated standard business accounting program.
  • Working knowledge of Viewpoint (highly preferred).

The full salary range for this position is $117,000 to $150,000. New hires typically start between $117,000 and $138,000], depending on direct professional experience and qualifications. The bonus target for this role is 7.5% of annual base earnings.
