Job Description

SUMMARY:   The Corporate Payroll Supervisor is responsible for all payroll functions for multi-site payrolls and Payroll Specialists processing the payrolls ensuring accurate recording of time and attendance for all    appropriate employees.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares all payrolls, salary warrants, and employee’s bi-weekly hours to be uploaded to the payroll system.

Reviews all data entries to ensure accuracy, in regards to name, social security number, pay rate, etc.

Provides management reporting as requested and conducts necessary analysis for financial reporting.

Provides training and/or guidance to property personnel on use of timekeeping systems and payroll reporting requirements.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Supervises the Payroll staff, with responsibilities including hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates’ Degree preferred.  Five or more years related experience and/or training required.

Must have prior payroll experience in gaming and/or hospitality environment.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

N/A

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.

Must have  working knowledge of UKG or similar payroll processing systems
