Job Purpose
The Implementation Consultant is a client-facing delivery professional within ICE Mortgage Technology’s Data & Document Automation (DDA) Professional Services Organization. This role is responsible for end-to-end implementation of DDA Analyzer products; Income, Credit, Asset, and Audit Analyzers, which automate mortgage underwriting, quality control, and post-close audit workflows within the Encompass platform. The consultant serves as the primary day-to-day client resource from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Delivery
Own the full implementation lifecycle: discovery, solution design, configuration, UAT, training, go-live, and post-implementation support
Serve as primary client contact, building trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders from operations staff to executive sponsors
Facilitate requirements sessions and drive consensus on solution design, workflow integration, and best-practice configurations
Conduct client training and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption and self-sufficiency
Technical Configuration & Project Management
Configure DDA Analyzers per client underwriting guidelines, investor overlays, and operational workflows within Encompass and EDS
Troubleshoot configuration issues and coordinate with Product and Engineering on defect resolution
Manage project timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent engagements
Produce clear status reports, escalation summaries, and implementation documentation for clients and internal stakeholders
Coordinate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Technical Support, and DDA Data Services
Knowledge Sharing & Process Improvement
Contribute to PSO playbooks, SOPs, and best-practice documentation
Support adoption and health-check activities for clients in post-go-live phases
Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization within PSO delivery operations
Required Qualifications
Mortgage Industry Experience (within last 2 years)
UW Analyzer Track (Income, Credit, Asset Analyzers):
Senior Underwriter with 3–5+ years across conventional, government, and/or jumbo products
Senior Processor with 3–5+ years managing loan pipelines, conditions, and documentation
Senior QC Analyst with 3–5+ years performing pre- or post-close quality reviews
Audit Analyzer Track:
Senior Post-Closer with 3–5+ years in closing, funding, and post-close document review
Senior Compliance Analyst with 3–5+ years in mortgage regulatory compliance (TRID, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA)
Senior QC Analyst with 3–5+ years performing post-close audit and compliance reviews
Professional Skills
3+ years client-facing experience in consulting, implementation, or professional services
Demonstrated project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level documentation and client-facing facilitation
Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills
Preferred:
Encompass administrator experience (business rules, field configuration, document management)
DDA Analyzer administrator or configuration experience
Acceptable:
Encompass end-user experience in a production lending environment
DDA Analyzer end-user experience (significant plus)
Proficiency with JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar tools; Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
PMP, CompTIA Project+, or comparable project management certification
NMLS licensure (current or prior)
Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Prior mortgage technology, fintech, or SaaS implementation experience
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (between 25–50%)
