Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: St. Johns, MI

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will play an important role in supporting the day to day operations of our HR team and creating a positive employee experience across the organization. This role partners closely with employees and leadership to assist with recruiting coordination, onboarding new team members, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits and payroll processes, and helping manage development and training programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment while supporting employees throughout their career journey with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits & Payroll Support {1}
- Insurance:
- Support initial benefit enrollment and employee inquiries
- Assist with annual open enrollment activities
- Coordinate distribution of insurance cards
- Process bi-weekly funding for claims payments
- Coordinate voluntary Benefits payments, enrollment, and changes
- Payroll:
- Set up new employees, process changes and exits in payroll
- Prepare time/attendance & process changes for payroll
- Track leave cases (FMLA, disability, etc.)
- Facilitate educations sessions (retirement, insurance, etc.)
Employee Support {2}
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with planning & executing retirement celebrations
- Track the use of Learning & Development programs
- Coordinate applications, progress, completion and follow up for Development Programs
- Coordinate enrollment, reporting and follow up for general skills training
Schedule & coordinate all aspects of new employee onboarding {3}
- Build and distribute Welcome Kits
- Maintain Welcome kit inventory
- New Hire Announcements
- Orientation Schedule
- Initial job training plan preparation & coordination
Recruitment {4}
- Assist with internally coordinating scheduling for interviews
- Ensure interview rooms are prepped and cleared
Administrative {5}
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Coordinate employee evaluation process, save documents accordingly & timely
- Assist with HR communications, distribution of information and team intranet site
- Process requests and coordinate annual updates of CCP authorizations
- Track and report recognition points
- Create, coordinate, update and utilize SOP’s for HR daily task processes
- Set up & manage automatic reports from payroll system
- Monthly hours reports to Safety Manager for 300 tracking/reporting
- Monthly birthday & work anniversary to Corp Services
- Annual report of birthdays, work anniversary & anniversary (sent monthly)
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and HR related information
- Back up for front desk and phones
- Represent AgroLiquid for on-site presences & presentation to groups as needed
- Follow all safety policies, procedures and protocols at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Other misc. duties as necessary

What we’re looking for:
- Education & Experience
- Associates degree in Human Resources related field preferred
- 3+ years of HR or administrative experience preferred
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of the human resources field
- Driver’s License with good record
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Great attitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
