Essential Responsibilities:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for leading the execution, operational management, and performance optimization of the marketing function to drive revenue growth, strengthen brand position, and support expansion across multiple vertical markets within a technical B2B and B2G environment.  As a key leader in the organization, this role will collaborate to translate strategic direction into actionable marketing initiatives focusing on Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Communications. 

  • Manage, coach and develop a high-performing, collaborative marketing team. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support company objectives.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. 
  • Direct brand positioning, messaging and overall market presence to ensure all initiatives are, high quality, and aligned with organizational standards across platforms and materials.
  • Oversee content creation, public relations efforts, advertising, and product marketing.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Leadership to improve lead management, scoring, conversion tracking, and drive unified go-to-market execution.
  • Establish clear goals and metrics and prepare regular reports on marketing ROI and strategic initiatives. 
  • Provide guidance across digital performance, website experience, design, and content strategy. 
  • Own the development and execution of full-funnel demand generation programs. 
  • Analyze campaign performance, and deliver clear and data-driven reporting and recommendations on optimization strategies.
  • Oversee marketing operations and workflow from concept through launch
  • Implement efficient processes and systems to improve speed, quality and scalability. 
  • Oversee digital ecosystem including website, SEO, email and online campaigns. 
  • Leverage marketing technologies, CRM and automation tools to improve marketing strategy including: targeting, personalization, nurture campaigns, customer retention strategies, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Engineering to support launches and product positioning. 
  • Monitor market trends, customer’s needs and competitor activity to  guide decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, agencies and strategic partners.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, or an equivalent compensation of education and 10+ years progressive marketing experience.  Required understanding of digital marketing, analytics and brand management. 
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a Leadership capacity developing successful marketing strategies and directing cross-functional teams. 
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, SalesCloud) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of CRM reporting, customer segmentation, automated workflows, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts related to security screening equipment, customers and markets is required.
  • Proven ability to build or improve marketing processes and drive results
  • Must be self-directed, motivated and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project Management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Data-driven approach with experience managing budgets and measuring ROI.

Working Conditions

This job operates primarily in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
