Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.   • Adheres to all established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. 
  • Provides timely and courteous food and beverage service to Star Club guests. 
  • Records accurate through counts of Star Club guests and companions through the use of the Swipe application. 
  • Passes on requests to the appropriate Host. 
  • Maintains knowledge of all current and upcoming special events in the Star Club Lounge and helps build excitement for these promotions. 
  • Acts as guest service liaison, handles guest opportunities and resolves situations so as to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service throughout the Star Club Lounge. 
  • Updates accounts with information changes and obtains missing information on player accounts; issues replacement cards.
  • Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance. 
  • identifies potential new members for development to Casino Host and Executive Hosts based on levels of play. 
  • Answers questions regarding Star Awards Program, times and gaming sessions, transportation services, parking facilities, and all events and promotions. 
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. 
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; at least one (1) year of guest service experience in a casino environment highly preferred. 
  • Must possess exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). 
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. 
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. 
  • Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. 
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs dictate.
