How you’ll contribute 

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the patient admission process, collaborating with the clinical team, and supporting operational planning and program development to ensure efficient and effective patient onboarding.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate patient admission functions in alignment with the hospital's mission and vision.
  • Assist the Program Director with therapy operations.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Liaisons and the Program Secretary to support admission flow.
  • Develop admission forecasts and patient day projections in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Prepare and analyze reports using established data tools and provide timely statistics.
  • Work with department managers to evaluate and enhance services and programs.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Medical Staff, interdisciplinary teams, and external agencies.
  • Explain pre-admission and admission policies to families and referral sources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a clinical area preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare setting preferred.
  • License: Clinical licensure preferred.
