Electrical Engineering Student

 

Employment Type: Temporary, Contract (May-August)

Location: 5050 Satellite Drive, Mississauga, ON (Corporate Office)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Hourly:  $23-$25/hr

Join The Team:

ERCO Worldwide is looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Student to join our Corporate Office! This role will report to our Senior Manager, Electrical & Instrumentation with the following responsibilities:

 

The Role:

  • Familiarization with ERCO engineering environment, various support teams and overall engineering and manufacturing process at ERCO.
  • Familiarization with various engineering application, tools, and methods.
  • Understanding of inter-departments links, and engineering delivery flow.
  • Develop a tool to document and gather engineering data related to electrical and control engineering methods and procedures.
  • Support the revision of various documents, standards, and procedures.
  • Support Electrical and I&C team in delivering engineering documents

 

The Person:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or Electrical Engineering Program
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Exceptional Computer skills
  • Strong skills in PLC Programming, and HMI applications for industrial automation
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong relationship builder – collaborative and is a team builder
  • Proactive – takes initiative, creative, stays ahead of the curve, and enthusiastic
  • Focused and results driven, transparent, and detail oriented
