We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in West Babylon.
Responsibilities include:
- Work well as a member of a team as well as individually under the direction of the Director of Maintenance
- Perform preventive building engineering maintenance duties such as: plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical, etc.
- Coordinate daily maintenance services with supervisor when performing routine assignment in resident living areas.
- Assist with other related maintenance duties as necessary or as directed by supervisor
- Ensure that the facility and its equipment is properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year maintenance experience
- Detail orientated
- Basic understanding and experience in plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform annual preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment as directed
