Job Description

Position Summary


Business-to-business outside sales representative. Responsibilities include prospecting, territory management, development of referral sources and sales of products to prospects with an assigned geographical territory. Prospecting includes phone canvassing, vertical marketing, CPA marketing, Bank Marketing, direct mail/email, and development of client referrals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Manage a geographical territory to include prospecting, development of referral sources, sales presentations and conversion appointments. Analysis of client needs, preparation of proposals and completion of paperwork necessary for smooth conversion of clients to Payroll Dynamics’ Payroll System.


As Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:


  • Telephone and in-person analysis of small and medium clients
  • Managing client relationship and providing primary client contact through conversion
  • Use of effective problem-solving skills to resolve client issues
  • Maintenance of team orientation in dealing with fellow associates
  • Providing quality service

 Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)


  • Bachelors Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
  • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.

 


Communication & Skills


Excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills required. Must be able to work under time constraints and meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Sales Representative must possess or develop:


  • Quality service orientation
    • Must have excellent telephone skills
    • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and detail
    • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving
