ESY Special Education Teacher
             Extended School Year
Monday � Thursday / 8:30 AM � 1:30 PM 
                  19-Day Program
Anticipated Dates: June 29 � July 29, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:    
1. Must have valid NJDOE Instructional Certification with NJDOE Special Education Certification.
2. Must be available for all program dates and times.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods.
4. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education and demonstrated ability to effectively provide certificated services.
7. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.

REPORTS TO: Director of Student Personnel Services

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  $43 per Hour. Terms per collective bargaining agreement.
• The employee is not eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental,
and vision insurance, paid sick and personal leave accruals (pursuant to the collective bargaining
agreement), and enrollment in the New Jersey Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund (TPAF) or
the Public Employees' Retirement System.
• The position is not eligible for additional compensation in the form of stipends for
extracurricular activities, coaching, or tuition reimbursement based on district policy.
