Why This Role Exists
This role exists to help us expand into new sectors where human-centered design can make a real impact. The Account Executive builds relationships in the private-sector and connects our team with leaders who need help changing something.
What You’ll Do
Relationship & Market Engagement
- Build relationships with product, UX, and CX leaders navigating complex decisions
- Initiate thoughtful outreach grounded in research, curiosity, and credibility
- Stay close to the market—listening for where teams are stuck or stretched
- Identify where Anthro-Tech can make a meaningful impact
Consultative Discovery & Problem Definition
- Lead conversations that help clients clarify what they’re trying to change—and why it matters
- Ask strong questions and listen closely to understand context and goals
- Help teams move from vague challenges to clearer direction
- Show up as a thinking partner—not just someone selling services
Pipeline Ownership & Follow-Through
- Build and manage a private-sector pipeline from the ground up
- Stay on it—follow up quickly, keep things moving, don’t let opportunities stall
- Make prospects feel like their work matters and is getting real attention
- Keep momentum with clear next steps and consistent communication
What the First 90 Days Might Look Like
You’ll:
- Get grounded in how we work and where we win
- Learn the Ideal Client Profiles (ICPs) and build a focused target list
- Attend relevant events from associations or industry conferences
- Start outreach and begin real conversations
- Bring early opportunities into discovery
- Establish a consistent rhythm of activity and follow-through
By 90 days, we’re looking for:
- Conversations happening
- Early pipeline taking shape
- Clear momentum
We’re not expecting immediate revenue. We are expecting you to be in motion.
What Makes Someone Successful Here
- Experience selling consulting or professional services
- Comfortable building pipeline through outbound outreach
- Strong listener who asks good questions
- Able to operate without a lot of structure
- Impeccable follow through and energy to keeps things moving
Nice to have:
- Experience selling UX, research, or design services
- Experience working with product, UX, or CX leaders
Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000–$100,000
- On-target earnings: $150,000 -200,000
- Commission tied to new client revenue
- Ramp period (6–9 months) as you build pipeline
