St. Robert Catholic School in Flushing, Michigan is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. We are committed to forming students intellectually, spiritually, and personally within a faith-filled environment. Teaching assignments may include one or more core subject areas, including Math, Science, English Language Arts, and/or Religion, based on candidate strengths and school needs.

 

● Plan and deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject area(s) aligned with school curriculum

● Foster a positive, structured classroom and homeroom environment

● Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

● Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback

● Collaborate with administration, faculty, and parents to support student growth

● Support and model the Catholic mission of the school in daily interactions

 

● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field appropriate to teaching area

● Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)

● Prior teaching experience preferred, especially at the middle school level

● Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school

● Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

 

● Practicing Catholic preferred (required for Religion instruction)

● Completion of background check and Protecting God’s Children program
