Job Description

 ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Utility Warehouse Associate who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. This role will be responsible for collecting and delivering material to production in accordance with production schedule, assist in staging finished goods, loading trucks, and operate turret truck in accordance to pick lists.


Utility Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
  • Collects and delivers material to production in accordance with production schedule.
  • Ensure quantity and part numbers align with pick lists.
  • Operate turret truck to retrieve inventory in accordance with pick lists.
  • Maintain in-process inventory counts to ensure continuous accuracy.
  • Deliver production materials where needed with accuracy and speed.
  • Document materials, record units delivered and location of units.
  • Assist with unloading and loading goods from trucks.
  • Report inventory discrepancies.
  • Partner with production for seamless processes.
  • Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
  • Operate material wrapping machines to prepare finished goods for shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Work experience in warehousing
  • Inventory management software (beneficial)
  • OSHA compliant
  • Willingness to train on other machinery, such as turrets
  • Time management, communication skills, familiar with metric system, working with hand tools
