Primary Purpose

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Senior Quantitative Analyst – Data Quality is responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing advanced quantitative analytics, data quality measurement frameworks, and enterprise reporting solutions to enable effective data quality execution and governance.

As a key member of the Data Quality team, this role partners directly with business units, Data Owners, Data Stewards, Custodians, and IT to define data quality rules, quantify data quality risk and impact, and deliver clear, actionable insights through Power BI dashboards and analytical reporting. The role combines Python‑based analytics and data visualization expertise with the ability to communicate complex data quality issues clearly and drive resolution across cross‑functional teams.

Primary Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and maintain quantitative data quality analytics and metrics.
  • Design and implement statistical analyses, data profiling techniques, and quantitative models to measure data quality, identify data anomalies, and quantify business, operational, and regulatory impacts, rather than valuation, pricing, or risk models.
  • Design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions focused on data quality
Build and maintain leadership‑ready Power BI dashboards that provide transparent visibility into data quality health, issue trends, prioritization, and remediation progress, rather than proof‑of‑concept modeling systems or general BI platforms.
  • Partner with business units to define and operationalize data quality rules
Define data quality rules, thresholds, and acceptance criteria and translate business requirements into measurable, enforceable data quality logic, replacing expansion of simulation model usage and feedback collection.
  • Conduct advanced analysis and problem solving to identify and resolve data quality issues
Diagnose root causes of data quality issues, validate fixes, and ensure sustainable data quality resolution, instead of focusing on model risk or simulation performance.
  • Translate data quality insights into clear, actionable communication
Communicate data quality risks, issues, and requirements to technical and non‑technical audiences through visualizations, summaries, and presentations, rather than translating quantitative concepts into system architecture alone.
  • Collaborate across cross‑functional data governance and IT teams
Partner with IT, analytics teams, and data governance stakeholders to ensure aligned execution, scalable solutions, and continuous improvement of data quality processes and reporting, rather than expanding use of valuation models.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship focused on data quality analytics
Mentor analysts on Power BI best practices, Python analytics, and data quality measurement standards, extending beyond general quantitative or modeling mentorship.
