    Position: Full Time (1.0 FTE) High School Counselor
    Location: Roseburg High School, Roseburg, OR
    Salary Range: $51,175 - $99,876
    TSPC Licensure: School Counselor License required
    Start Date: August 24, 2026 (192 day calendar)

     Qualifications

    • Degree in guidance, child development, or secondary education
    • Valid Oregon TSPC School Counselor certification/license, or ability to obtain one
    • Passion for teaching and working with children; previous experience working with high school students preferred
    • Commitment to continuous professional development

    Position Summary
    The High School Counselor, under the supervision of the building Principal, provides services to students, teachers, and parents, and coordinates community resources in an attempt to produce an atmosphere that facilitates a positive learning environment in the schools. This position is primarily designed to enhance student success by facilitating collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and community members to develop skills for learning and living in safety; emotionally, physically, and socially.
