This role partners closely with strategy, activation, data & tech, and connected commerce teams to deliver thoughtful, insights led media plans that drive business outcomes. Operating within the OneMars model, the Media Planner contributes to a collaborative, globally connected way of working designed to bring greater consistency, scale, and effectiveness to how media is planned and delivered for Mars brands. Responsibilities Media Planning & Execution Support Support the development of tactical media plans across upper, mid, and lower funnel channels, translating strategic direction into clear, executable recommendations. Assist in building media flowcharts, budget allocations, and channel rationale in alignment with approved objectives and KPIs. Partner with activation and buying teams throughout the campaign lifecycle, including briefing, trafficking, go‑live, and in‑flight optimization phases. Campaign Setup, QA & Ways of Working Contribute to campaign readiness by supporting asset coordination, timeline management, and quality assurance across platforms prior to launch. Adhere to and reinforce OneMars processes, taxonomies, and governance standards across planning and execution workflows. Support accurate setup and maintenance of plans within core planning and governance tools, ensuring consistency and transparency. Measurement, Reporting & Optimization Support ongoing performance tracking and reporting, including pacing checks, post‑launch validation, and campaign summaries. Assist in synthesizing learnings and observations to inform optimizations and future planning cycles. Collaborate with measurement and analytics partners to ensure media performance is evaluated against agreed success metrics. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with internal partners across Strategy, Data & Tech, Social & Influencer, Connected Commerce, and Production to ensure integrated thinking and flawless delivery. Participate in team forums, planning sessions, and knowledge‑sharing moments to build understanding of the broader OneMars ecosystem. Expectations of a Media Planner At this level, a Media Planner is expected to: Execute assigned tasks accurately, on time, and in line with established OneMars standards and processes. Demonstrate growing confidence in media fundamentals, including channel roles, funnel strategy, and core performance metrics. Be detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in managing deliverables and dependencies. Ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and actively contribute to team learning and development. Represent Publicis Media and the OneMars model with professionalism in internal and external interactions. Qualifications Required: 1–2 years of experience in media planning, media buying, or a related media role (agency or client side). Foundational understanding of paid media channels (e.g., digital, social, video, programmatic, retail media). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Experience working within cross‑functional or integrated agency teams. Exposure to media planning, trafficking, or reporting tools and processes. Interest in data‑informed planning and continuous optimization. Additional information Salary Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $45-50k per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
