A clean park isn't just nice-it's critical to guest happiness. We're looking for a hands‑on, positive, and reliable Summer Seasonal Park Services Supervisor to help lead our custodial team and ensure the entire park stays spotless, safe, and show‑ready from open to close.
You'll guide Park Services Hosts/Hostesses, maintain cleanliness standards across your assigned zones, respond quickly to needs, and support the guest experience through exceptional presentation and friendly service.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead and support a team of Park Services Hosts/Hostesses
- Assist with training on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest service skills
- Assign zones, break schedules, and daily tasks
- Provide in‑the‑moment feedback and coaching to ensure high performance
- Encourage a positive, teamwork‑driven environment
Daily Operations & Cleanliness
- Oversee cleanliness of walkways, restrooms, seating areas, and common spaces
- Perform inspections to ensure all areas meet park "show standards"
- Support opening and closing duties for assigned zones
- Assist with deep-cleaning tasks and special projects as needed
- Respond to spills, high‑priority messes, and safety-sensitive situations quickly
Restroom & Facility Oversight
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned, stocked, and maintained throughout the day
- Coordinate rotations to maintain proper coverage and safe conditions
- Monitor supply levels and manage restocking requests
Guest Service & Interaction
- Assist guests with directions, information, or general support
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and a service-first mindset
- Create positive guest interactions simply by being present, friendly, and helpful
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure team members follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
- Monitor potential hazards and take immediate action
- Submit maintenance requests for equipment, facilities, or safety issues
- Support emergency response protocols when needed
Team Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate regularly with Park Services leadership regarding staffing, zone needs, and guest feedback
- Work with other departments during special events, peak days, and large group visits
- Help maintain accurate logs of tasks completed, supplies used, and areas serviced
What You Bring
- Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, facilities, or park operations
- Leadership, team‑lead, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high‑quality cleanliness
- Excellent communication, reliability, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors, stay active, and move throughout assigned zones
- A positive, calm attitude-even in busy or unexpected situations
