Job Summary: Provide U.S. nuclear weapon stockpile subject matter expertise and analytical support.  Conduct in-depth analysis of stockpile sustainment issues, managing staff coordination processes, and supporting both DOE and DoD stakeholders. Provide critical technical and analytical support related to the U.S. nuclear stockpile analysis. Collaborate with nuclear stockpile stakeholders. Provide policy recommendations, manage staff packages and document review, and maintain historical and programmatic archives related to the U.S. nuclear stockpile enterprise.

 

Requirements and Education:

Must have demonstrated knowledge of nuclear stockpile stewardship at all government levels and experience working with the broader nuclear enterprise.

Must possess an active DOE Q clearance or an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Bachelors degree in nuclear science, political science, engineering, national security, or a related degree field and 10 years of directly applicable experience.

Strong analytical and critical thinking attributes.

Willingness to travel as necessary to perform the functions of the job.

Preferred Requirements and Education:

Current or former experience as a senior or executive level nuclear stockpile expert.
