Location: Creative Dining Services Home Office located in Zeeland, MI
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Enjoy your evenings and weekends off!) Flexible hybrid schedule - 3 days in the office!
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour with performance bonus eligbility

Join our HR team as a full-time non-exempt Benefits Administrator and play a key role in supporting employee benefits, payroll, workers’ compensation, and safety programs across our organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and creating a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Benefits Administrator, no two days are exactly the same! You’ll:
- Manage employee benefit enrollments and eligibility
- Assist employees with claims, benefits questions, and life event changes
- Support payroll processing and HRIS accuracy
- Help coordinate annual Open Enrollment
- Communicate benefit updates through emails and weekly digest articles
- Handle unemployment and workers’ compensation documentation
- Train managers and administrative teams on benefits and safety processes
- Assist with OSHA reporting and safety initiatives
- Partner closely with Payroll, HR, and Safety leadership
- Be a key player in creating a positive employee experience

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in a related field preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and safety/auditor software preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety regulations
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
- A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Work Environment
This position works primarily in an office environment using standard office technology and equipment. Occasional extended hours may be needed during peak periods such as payroll processing or open enrollment.
