Key Responsibilities
- Script Development: Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Test Execution & Analysis: Run automated regression and functional tests, analyze results, and report findings.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, record, and track software defects in systems like Jira, providing clear steps to reproduce.
- Collaboration: Work with developers to understand requirements and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain test data sets and configuration files.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Katalon, or Appium.
- Testing Knowledge: Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and Agile frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in test automation or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git.
