Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Billing Assistant Manager to oversee our billing (logistic AR/AP) operations and ensure our clients' timely and accurate invoicing. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage a team.The Billing Assistant Manager will create and maintain billing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the billing (AR/AP) processes and ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collections and administration,
Manage a team of billing specialists and provide leadership and support as needed
Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals
Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operation, to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations, to support statutory and other audits
Respond to billing inquiries and resolve billing issues as needed
Prepare and present billing reports to senior management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (team leader in billing/finance)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Familiarity with billing software and systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to billing and collections
Experience in logistic billing or industry is a plus.
