Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Lead ‘Platforms’ to strengthen the Information Services team. The role reports to the Digital Foundation Director within the Information Services organization.
The position may require occasional travel, participation in after-hours support for critical platforms, and the ability to operate in a fast-evolving technology environment.
The Product Group Lead “Platforms” is responsible for the reliability, development and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms that support the company’s digital landscape. This includes the SAP S/4HANA platform, SAP BTP and integrationplatforms and enterprise data platforms used by business and operational systems.
The role defines the direction for platform engineering across the SAP landscapes, integration services, low code/no-code platforms and enterprise data platforms. The objective is to provide stable, secure and scalable platform services that allow application teams to integrate systems and exchange data efficiently.
As a team leader for the platform product group, People management skills are key. The role will manage and coach a team of platform and solution architects responsible for designing, operating and improving these services. The role also oversees the platform project portfolio, manages BAU and project budgets and vendor relationships, and ensures that investments support business priorities.
Working closely with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, application product groups and service providers, the Product Lead ensures the technologies align with the broader enterprise technology landscape. This role requires strong stakeholder management across Information Systems and Operational Technology to support both enterprise IT and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership and Strategy Define and drive the strategy for enterprise platforms, including the SAP S/4HANA platform, enterprise integration services and supporting data platforms. Ensure these platforms remain secure, scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

· Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of architects responsible for designing, operating, maintaining and improving platform services. Provide technical guidance, coaching and clear priorities for the team.
· Portfolio and Project Management Manage the project portfolio and oversee delivery of project initiatives. Ensure projects are prioritized, delivered within budget and aligned with business and technology priorities.
· Stakeholder Management Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity teams, application product groups and operational technology stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities support business and operational systems. Work closely with the Risk Manager during the annual IT audit of SAP platforms.
· Budget Management Manage the BAU and project budgets for platform services and ensure investments deliver value and support business priorities.
· Vendor management Manage relationships with external outsourcing partners and technology vendors. Support vendor selection processes and participate in SAP-related contract negotiations.
Skills and Experience:
· Strong understanding and experience with enterprise platforms and integration technologies, particularly within SAP environments (e.g. S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite) and low-code platforms such as Mendix. (knowledge of Kepware, Kafka, MQTT …)
Experience operating and supporting business-critical platforms, with strong knowledge of IT service management practices (ITIL), and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
· Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with IT teams, architects, business stakeholders and external partners like technology vendors and global outsourcing partners
· Experience in budget management
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· 10+ years of experience working with enterprise platforms, integration technologies (SAP) and low-code.
· Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, platforms, and software development methodologies
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, DevOps and Scrum.
· English proficiency in international context.
Relevant certifications:
· SAP S/4HANA technical certification
· SAP BTP or SAP Integration Suite certification
· ITIL service management certification is a bonus
