Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary

Provides evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for adult and pediatric patients in accordance with ASHA standards, including communication, articulation, cognitive, and swallowing assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Current MS SLP license.

• Current ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY.

• CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute care, outpatient, or long‑term care settings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments.

• Develop and implement treatment plans.

• Perform dysphagia evaluations and diet recommendations.

• Document accurately in EMR.

• Provide education to patients, families, and staff.

• Participate in PI, infection control, and departmental training.

Physical Requirements

• Demonstrate and assist with therapeutic activities and functional mobility.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

• Lift, support, and transfer patients with assistance/devices as needed (up to 50 lbs independently).

• Manual dexterity for therapeutic interventions; adequate vision and hearing.
