The opportunity…
This is a key leadership role, responsible for owning and strengthening our quality, food safety and compliance systems. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will ensure the business operates with discipline, consistency and integrity across all aspects of quality and compliance – while continuously improving systems to support growth, complexity and customer expectations.
This is a hands on leadership role, not just oversight. You’ll spend time on the floor, working alongside teams to ensure systems are practical, embedded and effective.
Your responsibilities…
- Leading and developing quality and compliance systems across multiple sites.
- Owning regulatory, food safety, and broader site compliance, ensuring all statutory, customer and internal standards are met.
- Managing audits end-to-end (regulatory, customer and certification).
- Ensuring quality systems, documentation and verification processes are accurate, disciplined and consistently applied.
- Driving root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
- Supporting production teams with GMP, process control and quality performance.
- Building strong relationships with customers, auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Championing a culture of quality ownership and accountability at all levels in the business.
What you’ll bring…
- Leadership experience in a senior quality/compliance role in food manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, RMP and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing audits and customer standards in an FMCG environment.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach – comfortable on the floor, at a systems level, and in the boardroom.
- Strong leadership and influencing capability.
- A mindset focused on ownership, discipline and continuous improvement.
