| Qualifications | The minimum requirement is a PhD in Mathematics, or closely related field by the appointment date, August 10, 2026. Commitment to establishing a research program in mathematics with emerging international reputation with demonstrated or potential publication record in recognized journals. Commitment to excellence in mathematics education at the undergraduate through graduate levels. Strong potential for mentoring, advising, and service. Potential for service to the math programs and the department. Enhances research strengths and curriculum delivery in the department. A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities. |
