Come join our School Health team as a School Nurse at Total Education Solutions, where you will support local schools by promoting student health and wellness. In this part-time position, you will collaborate with school teams to address student health needs, conduct vision and hearing screenings, and provide trainings to school staff. Expectations:
Conduct vision and hearing screenings in accordance with school and state guidelines.
Provide health-related trainings and guidance to school staff (e.g., seizure protocols, diabetes management, medication administration, and other student health supports).
Assess student health needs and develop clear, concise health reports and documentation for school teams. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and special education teams.
Navigate and maintain accurate documentation in school-based IEP systems such as Welligent and/or SEIS.
Travel between school sites as needed to support screenings, consultations, and trainings.
Demonstrate strong time management, efficiency, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple campuses

Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A valid California School Nurse credential and a Registered Nurse license issued by the state
A valid Audiometry certificate
Knowledge of CA Education Code and CA Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools' policies, rules, and regulations
Experience in compliance monitoring of state and federal regulations
Must pass a background check through local and federal agencies
Environment & Physical Qualifications:
